WALKING
Set in 80 acres of farmland there is plenty
of gentle and safe walking on park. We have a
small tourist information office on site with
all the relevant Ordnance Survey maps and
leaflets on named local walks.
There are many great walks in the local area,
including the
Ann Griffiths Walk,
a seven mile walk down the Vyrnwy valley.
You could join the
Welshpool Ramblers,
who take walks from Church Street in Welshpool
every alternate Sunday.
For the more adventurous there are the Berwyn
Mountains (with the
Pistyll Rhaeadr,
the highest waterfall in Wales) and the
Snowdonia National Park
all within in easy driving distance the park. |
